We know times are hard, and we know that our children need an education that inspires in order to thrive. Over the last few years programs like the popular “Critters in the Classroom” program have been cut from school budgets and been sustained by private funders. Technology budgets have been cut as have personnel. How do we find the resources we need? Are there ways we might be able to reorganize that might save money and boost student achievement? Your creative ideas are welcome here. We will also post grant options that are identified or secured for schools, and by parent or community groups that are working with the schools.
