Rainbow House Crisis Care Family Support Program

This program allows a parent to place his or her child at the Rainbow House shelter for a short period of time during a crisis.

Some crisis examples are:

  • Medical and mental health emergencies
  • Death in the family
  • Parent participation in an alcohol or drug rehabilitation program
  • Highly stressful home situation with little or no support
  • Eviction
  • Lack of food or utilities
  • Domestic violence
