Parents for Public Schools hosts an annual PPS BBQ Year Celebration to recognize the achievements of students, faculty, administrators, and parents in the Starkville School District during the academic school year.  The event included food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family.

On Monday, January 12, 2009, PPS of Starkville hosted various community leaders at a showing of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, a play performed by students at Starkville High School.  The cast won numerous awards at the state competition.  PPS used the play to demonstrate the quality of the arts in the local public schools.  [...]
